[Sergio Sees: ]sorry for the lost time but unfortunately the person i had to do the translation i have not heard, so i tried it .. i hope it’s ok…

[Dr. Pimp: ] As far as I know, your English is excellent from my point of view. Although Iam no native speaker, nor I will ever get. All the Pimp fiend already know that my english explanation are as far away from good than hell from heaven and thats fo sho [;)]
What is your job in real life? Are you actually already working as an illustrator or not? I mean, I quit the the whole illustration game about 9 years ago, but still it is part of my daily business.
So please tell us and dont forget to mention, where do you come from? What is your daily life about? … tell us about your feelings. The whole story.

[Sergio Sees: ] Hi i’m Italian and i live in Milan. Iam not working whole day as an illustrator right now, but I’m currently studying to become one. I currently have a job that allows me to bring home a paycheck.

[Dr. Pimp: ] Yeah and thats the only think, that really counts: 2 make a living. Why did you choose graffiti and graffiti artwork as your favorite genre? Who inspired you most as an artist or as a musician?

[Sergio Sees: ] As a child i always had a passion for drawing, since i was growing up, i had an approach to the culture of hip hop with some of my friends, who already painted and the four disciplines of Hip Hop graffiti was for me the choice more spontaneous!
The artists that have given me great inspiration were undoubtedly the masters of the school of New York, but i also received more input from many great Italian writers.

[Dr. Pimp: ] What track infected you with the Rap Virus?

[Sergio Sees: ] I remember the first rap CD album i bought, was “Fear of a Black Planet” by Public Enemy, that opened up a new world right in front of my eyes. Of course the track, that struck me most of that album, was “Fight the Power”.

[Dr. Pimp: ] Yeah and I sharply remember the big neckwristwaTCH. It was fantastique and thats fo sho.
When you look into the future, what is your expectation, what do you wanna achieve with your artform. What are you currently working on?

[Sergio Sees: ] I hope to be able to make a living with my drawings, someday, i’m always looking to evolve stylistically, with both my characters and with my letters .. the nice thing about graffiti in my opinion is: There is no clear real destination at the beginning, and these things allow you to always push forward their own style, without ever stopping.

[Dr. Pimp: ] I feel that even 2 if I draw. Its the most opened but also the hardest part at the beginning of artwork, with just a white paper in front of you. And Iam sure it is hardly possible for an artist to know at the beginning of an artwork where it will lead ya 2.

Do you like having exhibitions of your artwork or do you prefer to use the streetz as your audience?

[Sergio Sees: ] To be honest, i never stated i may have participated in any event but in the end i concluded that my “perfect canvas” is made of brick, painted on canvas can not give me back the same energy that i get from a wall ..
i tried to work on canvas, but in comparisison to that, i prefer paper. In fact they are still closely tied to the real classic. Sketches from pencil for me still remains the best choice, to make the best of my artwork.

[Dr. Pimp: ]Thanx a lot Sergio for giving us a close insight into your world of artwork. It is amazing. Take a look at the wonderful artworks. Top. Thanx.

[Sergio Sees: ] I want to dedicate this special to my mother and my only real source of inspiration and teacher of life.

[Dr. Pimp: ] My deepest condolences

One love Sees
